On the morning of January 21, 2021, the keel laying ceremony of the 1,017-passenger Thang Long high-speed passenger ship owned by the largest Phu Quoc Express fleet in Vietnam took place successfully.
Phu Quoc Express in cooperation with Z189 Company successfully organized the keel laying ceremony of the Thang Long 1,017-passenger high-speed passenger ship after about 5 months of deployment and construction of the structures.
Thang Long has a length of 77.46m, width of 11.10m, maximum speed of 29 nautical miles/h, maximum capacity of up to 1017 people; designed synchronously, 5-star standard, meeting the needs of transporting passengers on Vietnam's sea and island tourism routes (equivalent to restricted level I sea areas).
Upon completion, Thang Long will also be the largest and most modern super ship in Vietnam.
Thang Long ship will contribute to improving the ability to connect the mainland with the sea and islands of the country, promoting economic development and protecting national sovereignty.
