Based on weather forecast bulletin No. 02-1207/DB_ĐNB issued at 18:00
July 12, 2024 of the Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Station, which forecasts:
“Weather in the coastal areas of Soc Trang – Con Dao, Vung Tau – Con Dao from 19:00 on
July 12, 2024, Southwest wind gradually increases to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, altitude
waves from 2-4m, rough sea”;
Pursuant to Document No. 1270/TB-CVHHVT dated June 19, 2019 of the Port Authority
Vung Tau seaport announced the content of the meeting to unify the hydrometeorological situation.
Document as a basis for consideration and settlement for passenger ships operating on waterway transport routes
from shore to island leaving port and some measures to strengthen safety assurance work for
passenger trains operating on the route;
Based on the results of discussion and agreement with Can Tho Maritime Port Authority
and the Inland Waterways Port Authority of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province on coordination in consideration,
license for passenger ships on waterway routes from shore to island.
Vung Tau Maritime Port Authority announces temporary non-review and licensing
for passenger ships operating on the waterway from shore to island, Tran De - Con Dao route
Island, Vung Tau - Con Dao route, Can Tho - Con Dao route and Ho Chi Minh City route
Minh - Con Dao leaves port from 19:00 on July 12, 2024 until conditions
suitable sea weather, ensuring safety for ships, crew and passengers.
