Due to the influence of the tropical depression currently operating in the East Sea, during the day and night of July 14, the area from Ca Mau to Kien Giang seas, the Gulf of Thailand will have strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8. Rough seas, waves 1.5-2.5m high. Warning day and night July 15, The sea area from Binh Dinh to Ca Mau, the South East Sea area (including the sea area of Truong Sa archipelago) will have strong southwest winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9.
The sea area from Ca Mau to Kien Giang, the Gulf of Thailand has strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7, waves 1.5 - 2.5m high, rough seas. The strong winds and big waves at sea will continue in the coming days.

Following the direction of Kien Giang Maritime Port Authority due to bad weather, the ship is not allowed to operate on the Rach Gia-Kien Giang route and vice versa on July 15, 2024. Only the Ha Tien-Phu Quoc route and vice versa is allowed to operate on July 15, 2024.
