Morning:
When you arrive at Sa Ky port, you can choose to buy tickets. speedboat to Ly Son island. Afternoon: You will start exploring Hang Pagoda, Hang Cau and conquer Thoi Loi Peak.
- Hang Pagoda: Hang Pagoda, along with Duc Pagoda, is one of the most famous ancient pagodas in Ly Son. Hang Pagoda is located in An Hai commune, about 25 km from Sa Ky port and only about 3 km from Ly Son center. The name "Hang Pagoda" comes from the fact that the pagoda is located in the largest cave in the cave system of Ly Son. The pagoda not only worships Buddha but also the gods who have contributed to reclaiming, building and protecting the community on the island.
- Duc Pagoda: Visit Duc Pagoda, also known as Dinh Liem Tu, one of the island's famous historical sites. Here, you will see a 25m high statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. Duc Pagoda also has a system of three large and small stone caves worshiping Buddhas, with the main temple located on the slopes of Gieng Tien Mountain, an area that used to be a cooled volcano millions of years ago.
- Next, stop by To Vo Gate only about 100m from Duc Pagoda, located close to the coast. If you have the chance, don't miss stopping at To Vo gate at sunset. When the sun slowly sets behind the rocks, this place appears with a mysterious beauty. From this sightseeing spot, you can look around, immerse yourself in the sunset and admire the peaceful and poetic image of fishing boats.
Ly Son travel experience 2 days 1 night - Day 2
Morning: On the second day, you will start visiting Mu Cu island.
- Hon Mu Cu is located near An Hai boat anchorage, leaning to the East and has a sea dike extending all the way to this island. Hon Mu Cu stands out with its wild but equally poetic features. In particular, the unique beauty of the black volcanic rocks stretching across the island creates a very distinct landscape.
- Next, you will move to visit Hang Cau. Hang Cau is located next to Hang Pagoda, at the foot of a volcano that erupted millions of years ago. This place is considered an ideal natural "observatory" on Ly Son island district. This is one of the Famous check-in locations in Ly Son.
- Thoi Loi Peak: Thoi Loi Peak is nearly 170m above sea level. On the top there is a freshwater hole. Standing from the top of the mountain, you can observe the whole Ly Son island within 10km. The crater has an eruption date of about 1 million years ago. Around the crater Ly Son volcano This is a vegetation covered with deep green pine forests that have contributed to creating a clean atmosphere for the entire Ly Son island area.
