JA On September 25, 2018, Phu Quoc High-Speed Boat Joint Stock Company and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province held a signing ceremony of the Plan for coordination in implementing the program "Vietnamese people love Vietnamese people". The signing ceremony was chaired by Mr. Vu Van Khuong, General Director of Phu Quoc High-Speed Boat Joint Stock Company and Ms. Le Thi Ve, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
Phu Quoc Express High-speed Ferry Joint Stock Company (PQE) is headquartered in Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang province, operating mainly in the field of passenger transport by sea, serving the routes Rach Gia - Phu Quoc, Ha Tien - Phu Quoc, Rach Gia - Nam Du and vice versa. After nearly 1 year of operation, supported by the Provincial Departments, trusted and cooperated by agents and most of all, favored and supported by customers, PQE always strives to meet the needs of passengers as well as increasingly perfecting services to create for customers the smoothest and most comfortable journeys when traveling with Phu Quoc Express. With the spirit of social responsibility, PQE always wishes to contribute part of its efforts to help the lives of Vietnamese people in general and local people in Kien Giang province in particular become more prosperous and prosperous. Therefore, PQE has proactively contacted and coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province to develop a program called “Vietnamese people love Vietnamese people”. The program will be held annually with the aim of mutual love and support.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Song Hai, Deputy General Director of Phu Quoc Expressway Joint Stock Company, said, “Lunar New Year is the most important holiday for Vietnamese people. It is a manifestation of the communication between heaven and earth and between humans and gods, and a day of family reunion. However, in our country, there are still many families in difficult circumstances. They cannot have a warm and full Tet holiday but have to worry about every meal and clothing. Therefore, the theme for our program “Vietnamese people love Vietnamese people” will be “Connected Spring - Complete Tet”. The main purpose is to share difficulties, care for difficult circumstances in the locality, and have a warmer and more complete Tet holiday.” Therefore, from October to December 2018, each customer who buys a ticket for the Rach Gia - Phu Quoc route and vice versa will contribute 1,000 VND per ticket to the program “Vietnamese people love Vietnamese people”. PQE hopes to receive support from customers to join the company in bringing a complete Tet to the disadvantaged people in Kien Giang province.
Mr. Vu Van Khuong also thanked the Fatherland Front of Kien Giang province for agreeing to cooperate so that PQE could build meaningful programs to connect businesses, connect people and further connect the Vietnamese mountains and rivers.
