Total tourism revenue was over 6,000 billion VND, an increase of 34.61% over the previous year, reaching 35.91% of the plan. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">International visitors to this &quot;pearl island&quot; account for more than 98% of the total number of international visitors to the whole province for sightseeing, tourism and experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As of August 2024, Phu Quoc has welcomed an estimated 4.52 million visitors, reaching 67.61% of the annual plan. Of which, the number of international visitors reached 653,525, exceeding the 98.11% of the annual plan. Total tourism revenue during this period is estimated at over VND 14,860 billion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">International airlines bring tourists to Phu Quoc with about 100 flights\/week, from many countries and territories around the world. Currently, there are many direct flights connecting to Phu Quoc in the region such as: Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand... bringing tourists to Phu Quoc for tourism. It is predicted that many international air routes will be expanded to connect Phu Quoc.<\/p>\n<p>Inland shipping activities, connecting the mainland to Phu Quoc Island have been increased.
