On January 23, 1952, the French colonialists took Sister S\u00e1u to the execution ground to be shot, but she stood tall and proud, showing no fear in the face of the enemy\u2019s guns. At the execution ground, before being shot, Ms. Vo Thi Sau requested that her eyes not be covered and shouted a slogan affirming her belief in national independence.
